What does an EQ Certification entail?
Since 1997, Six Seconds’ have offered the gold standard of ‘Train the Trainer’ programs for emotional intelligence workshops. These range from the foundational ‘Unlocking EQ’ workshop which is a basic introduction to emotional intelligence tools to the more specialized and advanced Certifications, like the EQ Facilitator, EQ Coach or Advanced Educator. Six Seconds offer a range of Certifications with various pathways to achieve your decided outcome.
To complete the certification process, participants must complete online pre-work, attend the full program, demonstrate competence with the methods and tools, and follow the terms of certification.
Please note the annual renewal requirements, including 12 ACE units.
How can you use an EQ Certification?
Six Seconds’ core certifications equip you with an in-depth understanding of EQ, the Six Seconds Model and their philosophies for teaching Emotional Intelligence.
Certified professionals have a special library on EQ.org with hundreds of resources and weekly updates. The library includes slides, videos, worksheets, and other building blocks which you will have access to.
Six Seconds also do ongoing research and share their scientific, global, transformational tools and methods to help you practice emotional intelligence.
Each Certification will equip you with different skills. Some enable you to use and debrief psychometric tests, whilst others upskill you to facilitate workshops and training sessions. Please look at each specific certification to see the actual outcome.
